--------------------------------------

CURRENTLY
...man, I'm exhausted. I had to go out-of-state on Independence day, had to drive God-Knows-How-Many hours from home four days after, and later four days of Japanese anime and video game hype in about seven days. :faint:

BOOKS
I finished reading The Picture of Dorian Gray! Now I have to return it (I DON'T WANNA!). Now I want a new [GOOD] book to read. I'm someone who's into [gay and straight] romances, horror, some comedy, and action/adventure. Either way, I'm into something dark. Suggestions?

MOVIES & SHOWS
I saw Transformers 2: Rise of the Fallen with friends a few weeks ago. Let me say it was NOT THAT GOOD. Plot made no sense, transitions were terrible, it was hard to keep up (let alone understand) what was going on, and nothing made sense.
I think I got my brother into [u]Axis Powers Hetalia[/u]. He saw some snippets from over my shoulder and now he's going through the episodes (he finds France's attempt to marry England hilarious). ^^;

MY STORIES
I've been a little unfocused for the past few weeks. Though one story has been on my mind for a while and, as scary as it was for me, I can't decide if I should keep it the same or change it.
One of my stories has been bugging me for a while and I could do some research on it, but I don't want to. Why? Because it involves CLOSE-UPS OF INSECTS. DX

MY DRAWINGS
WHAT THE F*** IS WRONG WITH ME?!
When I feel like drawing, my hand doesn't work.
When my hand is feeling active, my creativity blows a fuse.
It's probably gonna be a while before I post up another crappily-done "piece of work". :ashamed:

OTAKON (ShonenShoujoKid as Korea)
Many thanks to my friend who's making the costume. She's been putting her all in clothing--mine, her own, and friends'--for the past few weeks. :salute:
I've been getting some help from my parents. Even my mom is a little hyped: she showed me some of my grandparents' Han Boks and asked if they worked. She has lent me some pants that could work with the costume.
Now my main worry is finding a good pair of shoes to match. The Korean shoes I have are REALLY uncomfortable (I'd have to have very small feet in order to fit) and I can't find any brown shoes that can fit on my tiny feet. DX
[EDIT]: I'm a little upset. It's been made clear to me that the friend hasn't been/never got a start on the costume--and it's just 6 days left until the convention. I understand that she's busy and it's really stupid for me to be upset over this, but...well, this is my very first anime convention and I was REALLY looking forward to going as a character.
Now I just feel there's no point to work on finding the shoes/socks/additions to the non-existent costume anymore.

Photography is a way of feeling, of touching, of loving. What you have caught on film is captured forever... it remembers little things, long after you have forgotten everything. -Aaron Siskind
